That's a great idea. I'm going to have to bring it along with me too, even though it's huge.
One of the previous appts, my service adviser said some service was "recommended". I said I don't remember seeing it in my owner's manual, calling his bluff. He then said, oh, it's something that was added since the owner's manual was printed. I said I didn't receive any notification from Kia and declined the service. It was something that was to be done at a later time...either flush steering fluid or brakes, I think.
I also asked, several times, for a handout that listed all service. Did that when I bought the car and every time I go in. They always don't have any to hand out...just what's on a big board. I notice that it sometimes changes and doesn't match the owner's manual too.
As everyone else says, as long as you follow owner's manual, your good.
