Thanks for replying...I still can't find it! I don't see the EGR solenoid valve either....the schematic diagram on the website is so bad, I just cannot see anything.
Is there an easy way to find it?

Thanks alot for you help. Nonetheless, I just cannot see the EGR. Could it be under another part? Any ideas on the Optima 2002.

I found it! It is tucked away under the air intake and throttle body. Thanks for your help guys.
