Guys, this is driving me crazy. I am newbie, and I cannot find the EGR on my 2002 optima 2.4L. Any specifc detailed help or picture of where can I exactly find will be great.

I couldn't find a picture of it on the below site, but try find the small bore pipe that feeds exhaust gas to the EGR valve which in turn admits this gas into the inlet manifold after the throttle buttefly. The EGR is mounted close to the throttle body.
If you can find the "EGR solenoid valve", trace the vacuum pipe from the inlet manifold to the "EGR solenoid valve", then the vacuum pipe from the "EGR solenoid valve" to the EGR vlave.

Thanks for replying...I still can't find it! I don't see the EGR solenoid valve either....the schematic diagram on the website is so bad, I just cannot see anything.
Is there an easy way to find it?

I found it! It is tucked away under the air intake and throttle body. Thanks for your help guys.
