Sorento "Eyebrow" lights turning on randomly

Hello,

I have a Kia Sorento 2016.

From time to time while the car is parking, turned off and not in use the front "eyebrow" lights (those above the headlights) and the back red lights turn on on their own. Sometimes they also turn off on their own (noticed that once) and sometimes they don't and just drain the battery.

It could happen several times a week, or several weeks could pass without this taking place.

The car repair shop have no clue how to troubleshoot this or solve it.

Any ideas what could cause that?

Thanks

I have a 19 and one day while driving home, noticed wife's Sorento was sporting a "unibrow." I think the left side was out..anyways called her and told her to turn on left turn signal, and that worked. told her to turn on running lights, and both turned on, when she turned them off back to the unibrow. Finally told her to turn on headlights, then turn off, then back to regular amber eyebrows. "Unibrow" hasnt appeared again.

I have a 2017 and just started doing the same thing. I took it to the dealership and they have to idea was wrong with the car. Luckily my cameras captured the issue and I was able to show it to them. Did u ever find out what was wrong with the car

Funny how this popped up. I made a thread as well. I leave mine on auto and the eyebrows would come on randomly, driving or not. Dealer replaced the multifunction light switch stalk.
