Maybe you have an aftermarket accessory like an alarm system tied to the parking lights that's acting up.

 

Or aftermarket hitch wiring that could also be causing trouble?

 

I have a 19 and one day while driving home, noticed wife's Sorento was sporting a "unibrow." I think the left side was out..anyways called her and told her to turn on left turn signal, and that worked. told her to turn on running lights, and both turned on, when she turned them off back to the unibrow. Finally told her to turn on headlights, then turn off, then back to regular amber eyebrows. "Unibrow" hasnt appeared again.

 

I have a 2017 and just started doing the same thing. I took it to the dealership and they have to idea was wrong with the car. Luckily my cameras captured the issue and I was able to show it to them. Did u ever find out what was wrong with the car

 

I also have a 2017 Sorento and the eyebrow lights are randomly coming on for no reason.

Funny how this popped up. I made a thread as well. I leave mine on auto and the eyebrows would come on randomly, driving or not. Dealer replaced the multifunction light switch stalk.
