eBAY Kspeed is the company that sells em VERY VERY GOOD person to deal with.. would deal with them any many times again. No I had 2 friends help me it took about a hour with 2 people and proper tools. spring clamps etc

Would it be possible to get a link for the exact model of your dash unit? I seem to be finding a lot of hits for similar units but with varying specs. I don't want to purchase a cheap knockoff by mistake, especially when yours seems to be working flawlessly!

How's the refresh on the gauges?
This looks great. If only I was "allowed" to change this car like that.

I had a 12" TabletPC in my previous car with GPS, OBD and such... kinda missing it.

Hey Sargeants, you can use the Torque Pro app on most smartphones as well. I purchased it for my Samsung android phone. All you need is a Bluetooth ELM327 OBDII adapter. They're are fairly cheap on any of the popular Chinese import sites. Works great. The app is very accurate and they gauges are for the most part real-time.

get a PROPER ELM327 one not the cheapest lots fail. I have a bluetooth model and WIFI. I am running the WIFI one in the car because then I can keep my phone connected. refresh is very fast. about 30ms if that. the dash it self is very smooth and fast! runs flawless

How responsive and how fast is the android unit when scrolling through songs on USB stick? Is it fast?

What about the folders?

Reason I ask is I have 30gb of mp3s and some units are so slow to scroll through songs and folders.

Also how fast is the responsiveness of song change when you press next button?

Does the music resume from where it left off?

What is the difference between android 2.3 vs 4.0? I assume yours is 2.3?

Finally I assume that all steering wheel controls work ok?

Sorry for all the question but would be very helpful if you could reply, thanks in advance.

Agreed, a proper ELM327 is required. The cheapest odbII adapters, even if they say ELM327, are usually crap. If buying from a Chinese import site, ensure to read the reviews for the adapters. The popular ones with lots of good reviews are a usually a safe bet. Still sometimes stock changes. Ebay is another good spot from a reputable reseller.

Hi Rosscofat, in addition to Omarko's questions. Is there any voice recognition, Google Voice or otherwise, featured on the unit? Nothing fancy, but it would be nice to do hands free dialing or calling from my contact list. That is the only time I use the UVO voice stuff. Seems like a bit of shame really.

no no google voice. but it is very responsive. I have no issues and yes it leaves off where you had your song last. diff between 4.0 and 2.3 is 2.3 is very sable and easy to work with you CAN use a 4.0 dash but it be very annoying to get things to work with it. even if its rooted.

what about my question about browsing through song files ? i.e. if you have 1000 mp3s on USB, is it fast to scroll through the folders using one of the knobs? or is it really slow and do you have to scroll on the screen ?

cheers
