Perhaps a picture would help. I didn't know these cars had SD card slots.

On a side note, how did you get two MicroSD cards in there? Didn't you notice how big the slot is in comparison to the size of the MicroSD card?

 

There's no way a micro SD card can get lost inside a micro SD card slot, let alone two. Are you sure you're putting it into the correct slot?

 

It looks like the slot is standard SD card, so without the adapter I can see this happening. Maybe try some double sided tape around something flat and long, you might be able to fish it out.

The MicroSD card is the size of a small pinky nail. The standard SD card is the size of a big toe nail. It would be like trying to play a CD on a record player. How can people actually think putting one into the other is a smart thing to do? Keep in mind this is coming from a guy who got beat up by a turn signal bulb.

This is the problem.
The nag system has a MICRO SD slot.
I put the micro sr card, but the entrance of the slot is ¨not centered in the hole of the nav system.
So i inserted the card below the real slot, and the card went to the interior of the nav.

I moved a little the slot with a needle and inserted ( another card of course = ) and worked fine.

I completely agree! why would someone look at a hole in their stereo and think, "hey, if i can put an SD card in there, why can't I put a Micro SD card in there?" This is so confusing!

I was out of the town and I had no access to internet so sorry
This the DVD and entertainment system of my 2014 KIA sportage which due to the dealer's guarantee its the original DVD.but I don't think so
Be cause its menu graphic and buttons are different from what I have seen in usnews or caranddrive etc.

And as you can see,I was trying to insert a Micro SD card in a Micro SD slot.
I think the entertainment system is not the original one.it can't even play media sounds from my android phone over Bluetooth connection. Just phone sound
Both of my micro SD cards are not dropped IN THE entertainment system somewhere which could be taken out just by opening the system

Sorry, your photos are so dark, I can't see the slot you are talking about and no, that does not look like original KIA OEM equipment.

Edit: Just looked again, and if you're talking about the 2 vertical slots on either side of the display screen, those look to be for full-sized SD cards. Yes, a micro SD card is much smaller and would probably fall right in. I have no idea how you would get them back out again.

I don't know what country you are in, but there is no DVD player available on a 2014 Sportage in the US. Video players in the front of a car are considered a safety hazard and no OEM has them.

 

It looks like the slot actually says "microSD" though.

Disconnect the battery, pull the stereo out, disassemble it to get the sd card out and put everything back together.

Thats what the dealer does.

If you have a vacuum cleaner with a hose, put some light fabric like a sock or some panty hose, over the end of the hose and try to suck out the card.

You can find all info on howto remove the stereo on kiatechinfo.com. Takes about 15 minutes.

i just wanted to say that my problem solved!
well the vacuum method didn't work out but i got my micro SD's back by opening the stereo of the Sportage
