The chassis code on my 2005 Cerato is under a plastic cover on the floor in front of the drivers seat. For how to read it visit www.kiatechinfo.com it should help you. It will probably start with knafe and then the numbers. The location is printed in my owners manual. Hope this helps.

It has a black plastic cover on the crossmember under the front of drivers seat the code is stamped under there. Maybe it is in a different place on my Australian model. The code is knafe then 12 numbers. I think some models have codes in clear area in bottom of the windscreen.

 

ok my kia is a canadian model so yours is different than mine

 

it shouldnt be tooo different, all cars have the code, mine is below the windshield, but there should be a sticker on every major part of the car, and it should be stamped on a few parts as well,
