Check the wire plugs that plug onto the bulbs, they could be corroded or not actually hooking up with the bulbs.(the actual wire connectors, not the plastic housing)

 

You might also check the fog light relay. I think it is in the fuse box under the hood. They just unplug. Sometimes the relay contacts will stick or the relay coil will burn out. I suspect the relay is bad since the interior indicator light comes on but not the fogs. Try taking the relay out and bumping it hard. Sometimes it will start working again. If it does you might want to see about getting a new relay.

fog lights only turn on if you switch on the park lights as well.

 

+1, And they turn off when High beams are turned on if true FOG lights. If they DRIVING lights, they should be able to be on with high or low beam in use.

 

i will look closely at this thread mine are out a long time ago, Kia dealer haven't found it so far they suspect the switch but they did not have enough time at the moment so it will be on our next tune up or by myself if someone come up with a good tips here

one exception my dash light doesn't lit up too

 

How did u reach the fog light bulb on the right side ? Can’t get to that one,the drivers side was easy

 

2008 Kia Sportage EX fog lights

My 2008 Kia Sportage EX did not come with fog lights. Being the EX model it should have. I purchased blue LED lights which I'd like to install, but I'm not sure where to tap into the existing wire harness or fuse box. I see the relay and fuse for the fog lights, but I don't want to cut into the fuse box cover to tap into it. I'd like to wire the LED's so they come on when the key is turned to the AUX/ACC position and off in the off position so that I don't have to worry about leaving them on accidentally. If anyone know where I should tap into the wiring harness or fuse box, or has a wiring schematic for it, I would appreciate it. Thank you...Joe

 

2008 Kia Sportage EX Fog Lights

After looking through the car manual, I determined that I could use the power leads to the cigarette lighter, which turns on when the ignition is set to the ACC position. The fuse for the cigarette lighter is rated at 15Amps, so I can install LED's up to about 180Watts.
