You need internet explorer plus macromedia flash player and adobe svg viewer to get full use of www.kiatechinfo.com. If you use a MAC you won't be able to access the site.

 

These screenshots from KIA tech info should help you out. If it doesn't cover what you want PM me and I will see if I can get the info off the site for you.

Everything looks straight forward except No.'s 11 and 12 in the instructions....I guess it's all new to me because I'm doing it for 1st time......Appreciate the help!

Just remember the instructions on the screen shots cover a full tear down, don't get to carried away and pull off parts you don't have to to change the shoes.

 

Have u ever heard "a picture's worth a 1000 words"?? get ur camera or cellphone and take a pic. for later reference (that's what i always do.), cuz sometimes the schematics don't look right. If u've ever replaced the brake shoes on any other vehicle it's just about the same. In my experience the Rio's looked just like the mazdas.
