Wind Deflectors

Has anybody bought the official wind deflectors for the cee'd?

From the pictures on the Kia UK website they look as though they're stuck on, those that I've had in the past have fitted in the glass channel / window seal.

I quite fancy a set, but if they are stuck on then I'm not convinced that this is a good fixing method both in terms of aesthetics and durability.

Any thoughts, comments or advice greatfully received :)

Yeah, the 'garage' is a part of the site where you can post pics of yer motor (and possibly other stuff too - dunno!) - maybe it's called the gallery now though. Have a munge!

If it's 110 in the shade I'll be in the Merc with the roof down and working aircon! - put that in your (new) pipe and smoke it!

Wind deflectors

I have got wind deflectors on the front windows and they do stick on the outside.
At the front they "step" to fit the contours of the door this is where mine leak right above the front of the window when it is slightly open.
They do not look right on my SW as tey are just 8mm short of the length of the door.
I wouldn't buy them again, they are not as good as the ones I had on my last car which fitted inside the window frame:mellow:

HI, Yes I do have the wind deflectors.

They are 'stick on', I bought them for one reason only, as I am a smoker, I have my window open a lot of the time and of course being in the UK it is normally wet outside.....

The problem of rain dripping onto the window switches (as I had in my Laguna) is one that I wanted to avoid, the wind deflectors do the job just right.

There is a bit more 'wind noise' with them though.

For the price (Kia's own, marked Cee'd) I think they are very reasonable and they do come with a 3 year warranty.
