Which motor (I4 or V6) has more aftermarket support?

I've a few questions out of curiousity for the Rondo heads here:

1.) which motor has more aftermarket support? either N/A or Force Induction.

2.) what is the most popular modification for the N/A setup? Intake/Header/Exhaust? what are the companies that make them right now?

2.) is there any aftermarket force induction kit for either motor?

3.) if so as in #2, what is the type of power they are making? how reliable are they?

Please don't be shy with your input, much information is needed for a project going into R&D soon and would like to have some feedback from the owners like yourself here.

Other than the K&N filter, there doesn't seem to be much. CAI kit would be nice, as well as a cat back exhaust.

Rondo owners don't seem to view the vehicles the same as, say, the CX-7 group do theirs. And certainly not like Vette or most bike owners !!!

Noticed you mentioned your vehicle is the 09 Rondo in your profile. Not sure where you are, but I can tell you it is not available here as of yet, (I'm guessing you are just doing research and therefore you don't have it yet either). From what I have read on the forum, the 09's will have a new 2.4l engine, so most people on this forum probably wont be able to provide much input if you are looking at the 09s. But I could be wrong.

Obviously, due to the lack of posting in this thread, the average Rondo owner isn't too terribly interested in performance enhancing equipment for their vehicles !!!

I guess you are right but there has been some discussion in other threads by UK Carens drivers on 'chipping' the CRDis to produce 25 - 30% more power.

True, and we have the posts about the K&N filter availability, but we don't have the diesels in NA so that doesn't do us much good.
