If the car has one, it will be found in the bottom of the storage box under the arm rest on the center console.

while we are on the topic of the Aux-Input. would there be a way to put a factory aux in my 2006.5?

 

the EX model should have one already. should either be somewhere in the center console or they like to hide them in the armrest compartment. there is a way to add one but your stock radio would have to support one.

 

I'd like to know more on this as well..
I have an 07 EX with the infinity radio but no aux port.

Do you know if it supports one or if there is an aux in on the rear of the receiver?

i might have to take a look in the ones at work tomorrow because there should be one especially in the EX. i'll even take a picture of it for you if i find it.

I believe those ports only exist on 08+ models.

My 07 EX has a 12v port covered by a round cover in the same place in the console...however no aux in port can be found.

The radio and wiring should be the same I believe, between 06.5 and 08 models...

What year Optima was this a picture from?

 

I have an 08 and it is in the center console, bottom half, if you look at night, the letters AUX light up... its to the left of the Power Outlet. if you want a picture send me your e-mail address and ill send one.
