...........now you know why we like to have full details on what you are driving and location and that includes you to Scottebay :D
(the reason I have this signature line)

I bought my 2009 Rondo LX 2.7L in May 2010 with less than 14K miles. I now have slightly over 150K miles. Mostly interstate travel - we are retired. I have performed the following maintenance:

-Replaced tires twice - Firestone Affinity Touring - Last set lasted about 67K miles - had the alignment checked every 7.5-10K miles. Bought a lifetime alignment package

-Replaced the lowbeam headlights twice and the taillights and taglights once

-Replaced the wiper transmission assembly at around 132K miles

-Replace the battery and cleaned the starter terminals at 150K miles

-Replaced the spark plugs at around 100K - that wasn't easy

-Replaced all the brake pads at around 87K miles - Rotors are fine - never a minutes problem with brakes

-Changed oil and filter every 7.5K miles and the air filters about every 30-40K miles.

It's a bit loud on bad roads in the passenger area and the suspension can be very tight but all-in-all not a bad car.

update on mine.
2007 V6 EX. Bought new in May 2008.

Now 51k miles.

Original battery.

Changed rack and pinion (initially due to pulling and then again as the replacement was stiff on winter). In addition they changed PS pump like 3 times as a part of troubleshooting... clever, huh?
One more clever diagnostic - oil pressure light was on and then completely off. Even when engine stopped. Instrument cluster was replaced as the light bulb burned out. Sorry, misdiagnosed again. It was the oil pressure switch.

Other than that - stabilizer links, A/C compressor (loud - common), and driver door lock.

Generally speaking - very good car.

Oh oh me too!

Purchased Sept, 2013, 2600kms total :)

I now have 72,500 miles on my Rondo.

With the exception of disappointing gas mileage ( have been averaging 18-20 mpg in the winter) and the yet to be fixed clunking in the rear, it has been a good vehicle. :D

I recently joined the forum upon purchasing a 2008 Rondo with 36,000 and I've already put on 1,000 and plan more trips this spring! Can't wait to post how El Rondo does on the open highway!

Just turned over 70,000 km (43,500 mi.) after 6 1/2 years. the car has been very reliable so far, with a few minor exceptions. Sway bar links and a door panel were replaced under warranty. Had to install aftermarket camber kits to correct a tire wear issue. I find the suspension noisy and a little rough on poor roads. The seats are not the best on long trips either. Still, I think it will serve us well for many years to come. As for gas mileage, driving style makes a huge difference in this car. It will never be a fuel sipper but it doesn't have to be a guzzler either.

Just getting ready to roll over 137,000 mi. Have had it since new in 2008.

Very reliable and and regular maintenance items only replaced. By this mileage with my 1998 Chevy Venture I had blown head gasket twice and was replacing the engine.

158,000 miles (300,987km) on 2007 Rondo

Yeah - my Rondo has seen a lot of miles/km's to include a road trip from Illinois to Virginia and back and multiple years of 180 mi/day commutes! Still running smooth, excepting the stupid strut clunking. Has gotten me thru 100+ degree days and 20-below (Farenheit) days with 6-10" of snow and with a family of 6 total. Would buy another if I can get a dealer to import from Canada!:D

I'm at 69,800. I've experienced only standard maintenance except for two things: The map light console in the roof fell out. That was covered under warranty. And a fuel sensor failed just after the warranty expired (of course). The worrisome part about the fuel sensor was if they broke some plastic piece while replacing it I would need a new fuel pump which I would have had to pay for. Luckily, that did not happen. I am getting a clicking noise in the front when I turn almost all the way to the right. From reading posts in this forum I am going to have the strut nuts tightened the next time she is in for regular service. That one will also include transmission maintenance.

in another 5 days I'll have had my Rondo exactly 7 years. We have just a tick under 89000 miles on it. no issues with the exception to a broken right front spring and badly damaged front tires after driving on Metro Detroit's deteriorating roads.

Just over 2K now :D

In the last 2 months. includes three round trips (about 300 KM each) to Toronto to visit family.

Each time, such a comfortable drive on the highway, almost miss the off ramp to get off the highway, as wasn't used to the beep of the NAV (different from the GPS in our other car), and just want to keep driving.

Almost got a Journey with built-in DVD instead to keep the kids in the back quiet for these trips, but glad we didn't - use iPad instead (much better screen anyway), attached between the headrests.

Audio of the movies on the iPad is terrific through the car's stereo (but alas... kids movies, though I still love the stereo when I'm driving alone) and can't hear the engine or wind/road noise at all when volume is at a decent level. We fade the audio closer to the back me and the wife can chat up front.

I have to say though... while the kids love to watch video on these trips, they still love the gigantic sunroof just much - another distraction as a driver as they keep pointing things out all the time.

Happy with the mileage, considering my usual commute to work is 15min with a lot of stops in city/rural roads. By the time I fill up, it's between 8.5-9.5L/100KM, but I don't expect any car to hit the advertised numbers in real-life situations, and the way the drive is (accelerate to 100km/h, complete stop, accelerate to 100km/h, complete stop, accelerate to 100km/h, etc)

Very happy so far.
