Just curious as to who has the most miles now on their Rondo. I have a 07 LX v6 (Purchased in early 08) now with 42,000 miles.

Replaced tires at 27k with Cooper cs4 (Lots of gravel driving)

Front stabilizer bars replaced under warranty @ around 30k.

Other than that, no real problems except might be too small for us when we have a 3rd child. :(

(see my signature for mileage and ownership)

- original tires (Hankook's), still lots of wear left
- two warranty claims since purchase (heated rear window strand repair, replaced windshield due to stress crack)
- no mechanical problems

don't we have at least two other threads about fuel economy for Rondo/Carens?

I was thinking about merging them to keep everything together.

What do You think?

EDIT:
I think I misunderstood the title... my fault

Just turned 40,000 in my '08 EX-V6. Purchased new Jan '09, a leftover on the lot. OE tires replaced at 20,000 with Nexen N5000's. That annoying "warble" has started again in this set of tires. Not sure what's going on with that, but will def have it checked out. Love the car though...and I "live" in it almost.

Sorry this thread has created such a problem..... I am not after any sort of "Fuel Consumption".. Simply miles on your Rondo.

Reason: Most cars that are going to have consistent problems showed those problems early on in mileage. Ones that were relatively trouble free early on will be the same with higher miles.

If you need to add or delete this threat feel free. I was just curious. Again, Sorry.

Nope, not a problem.
The problem is language. To be more exact - I had missed a word that was not there... Of course this is about mileage - not gasmileage.
Sorry for confusion.

2007 Rondo EX Premium - Picked up from dealer Jan.28th 2007 with 43kms
- Now has 93,658kms
- Replaced OE Michelins at 72K w/ Uniroyal TigerPaw Touring
- Had front sway endlinks replaced 3 times (Clunking in front end)
- Sunroof assy. including glass replaced (chattering when closing from vent)
- PS Pump replaced (pissed all the fluid out, catastropic failure)
- Blower motor replaced (squeaking)
- Passenger rear window regulator replaced (Grinding noice when going down)
- TCU software update due to hard shifting (hard shift through all gears)
- HVAC Control module replaced (AC light never came on before when I changed dial to defrost. Thought this was normal. This winter it would always turn the AC light on. Dealer said this was normal. Two weeks later, doesnt turn the AC light on anymore.)
- Recall done for brake light switch
- Replaced both headlight bulbs and one fog light (burnt out)

I think that's it....

Bought new(32 miles) 1/14/09,have 58,521 miles. Yep,when you're a courier using your own vehicle, this occurs. Strut top nuts tightened around 30,000(low speed rattle),new Hankook 727 tires @31,200. Inner tire wear is only issue. Cuts usefull tire life by at least 15%.

A response and an observation. I would like the threads kept separate. This one will start to become a database to refer to concerning the repair items as our vehicles age. Patterns will start to emerge and we can start to budget (or at least brace ourselves for) these items. This has proven helpful to me on the forum concerning our 2001 Honda Odyssey. I can go on in more detail, but only if requested......

Several out-of-town deliveries puts mine at 68,013 miles today. 6,150 since March 1! And my Hankook 727 tires are getting pretty noisey w/more vibrations in the last 2,000 miles. They have 36,800 miles on 'em & due to the inner rib wear, probably will not see 50,000. Dang.

update...

today 20650 miles. If added 268 miles "lost" due to instrument cluster replacement, it would make close to 21000. From my calculations - 30 miles/day (11200 a year) with average fuel consumption of 21.4 MPG (US).

Update: Engine light came on last week. Took it to dealership yesterday and had fuel sensor replaced. During the week of driving with bad fuel sensor I noticed no difference in fuel consumption. Cost: $0.. Covered under warranty. I think my mileage now is 44K or so.

Purchased my Rondo Aug. 25, 2007. Now have 31,170km (19,325mi). My car is parked a lot. Usually driven on weekends and vacation with the occasional short trip during the week. No significant problems so far Brake squeel early on. I do have inner tire wear issue an suspension is getting a little noisy.

80,600 klics. Having rear control arm bushings replaced under warranty. In the 2 week period leading up to work I went from an annoying squeak to a throaty sQawK! My kids were embarrassed when I dropped at school. lol

Purchased Oct 2008 with 14K, we now have appx 46,500. 1st trip to the dealer for maintainance was yesterday for brake judder. They had to order 2 rotors to be installed (free) next week and do an alignment, as I have uneven tire wear on the front. Other than that, we are very happy with it...though I did test drive a Soul while waiting at the dealer (liked it!). We'll see- the theivin' bastards only offered $7500 trade...which would need to go up substantially to do a deal.

Update: I turned 90,000 miles on my '08 2.4 today. Put another set of Hankook Optimo 727's on at 82,000.(had 50,700 miles & could have got another 7500-10,000). VERY good tires for Rondo. Expenses other than tires: drivers door lock right after 60,000,accessory belt tensioner around 72,000,& R.F. wheel bearing at 82,000(noise-I'd hoped the noise was the tires). So,right around $1000 out of pocket repairs in 90,000 miles & my rondo still drives like new( a little rotor shake from the original brakes). Looks good too when washed!
