I started a thread about the transferability of Kia's warranty. The administrator closed it and removed it.

Why?

Given there was several back and forth comments, could not have been concerned about spam. The warranty from 2019 may have changed from now. That was the point of the thread.

This is from a Kia dealer website:

Is the Kia Warranty Transferable?
If you’re purchasing a pre-owned Sorento or looking to sell yours, then you might be wondering if the Kia warranty is transferable. The basic warranty can be transferred to the new owner, as long as it falls within the first 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. The powertrain warranty, however, is not transferable. Yet, if you’re choosing a certified pre-owned Kia model, you’ll receive a 10-year/100,000-mile limited Kia powertrain warranty and a 12-month/12,000-mile Platinum Coverage package.

I was also told by a Kia dealer that the powertrain warranty was transferable but NOT the 5/60 bumper to bumper. Was told 2 different things by 2 dealers. Makes no sense to me.
