I know this was addressed already in this forum, but I can't seem to locate the thread. Someone had pictured the tools they used to install the OEM splash guards on a sorento without having to remove the wheels. Would appreciate help with this matter.

I just wanted a real answer. A regular screw driver will not fit between the rear tires and the well. Especially the inside screw. My dealership said that I would have to remove the rear tires which at my age and the condition of my back I don't want to do. I have pu mudflaps on other vehicle we have owned in the past, but had to jack the things up and remove the wheels so I could use a drill. I know Kia was smart enough to design mud flaps that use the existing holes.

The fit is very good and only took a few minutes to install each one.The rear can be installed without taking the wheels off by using a very short "stubby" screwdriver. The ones I installed will only fit the EX or LX models sorry folks will have to wait a little longer for the mud guards for the SX model. This is the front .. Sorry the picture is so dark PS make sure the screws are placed in the same holes they are two different sizes on the front mudguards.

Thanks. I pretty much have figured out what I need and planning on stopping at the hardware store this week. Did you have any trouble with the fact that the screws really don't have deep notches on the head of them, (don't know what you call them)? I thought maybe there might be the risk of stripping the head easily. Otherwise pretty easy task since Kia designed these things to be mounted in the existing holes.

Put my new Mud Guards on today while on vacation. Took about an hour. Used an Offset Screwdriver and a regular one for the underside screws and the one that's furthest inside the Front Wheel Wells. They are awfully small. I don't know why Kia doesn't just put these on at the factory. They are nothing special as compared to the ones I have had on my other Suvs. Again, Kia at least designed the things so they could be placed using the existing holes.
