I can't tell you how the service is. I bought my SX in May and haven't found a single thing wrong with it yet.

 

im 6'2" and am looking to buy my SX this week. i have test driven and sat in it plenty. I dont have too much issue getting in and out...only hit my head the 1st time getting OUT.
get in i have no issue.
you gotta get the seat just right and you are good to go.
mechanically i think Kia has really made a leap in improvements and they wont have issues

 

I have yet to see one come back to our dealership for any problems. They are doing great!

 

Lets not forget cars with sunroof have less head room,ceiling is lower,naturally. Something to consider. Unless...lol.

 

I have only had problems with the head unit (radio) and KIA immediatly ordered another one, mechanically, the car runs like a scalded dog and drives like a dream.

 

6'6" here, and just got my SX with sunroof. The ceiling is actually pretty high in these compared to other cars I have owned. I have probably 2" clearance in case I ever decide to have big 80's rock band hair.

Just picked it up Saturday so cannot comment on your other questions but I did just get a call from the sales manager a few minutes ago wanting to make sure I am happy and everything is good.

thanks all, i was debating about getting the sunroof because of the less head room, good to see its not an issue..

 

Only one way to find out. Test Drive both and see which one suits you, its not until you get in one whether you will like it or not.

 

The driver's seat goes down pretty low. It's very car-like at its lowest setting. Also, at least with the Panoramic sunroof option, the Sportage sunroof goes up and over the roof, not into the ceiling, so I don't think it costs you any headroom.

The obviously solution is to testdrive, but be prepared to fall in love

 

I like the seat in the lowest setting too. But when I drive to the atm, I go to the highest setting to get at the buttons of the atm so my arm doesnt hurt from reaching.
