I didn't think they did illuminate - like some of the switches in the door.

 

Thanks gee6...i never considered that option ! I will stop trying to correct this problem !

 

Hate to burst anyone's bubble...but on my 2008 EX...the buttons on the steering wheel do illuminate. They are not very bright, but they do illuminate when the parking lights are ON.

 

Not sure why, but the interior lights appear green on my phone camera...
