the fuel gage on the dash is not working on my daughters sportage. i had work done on it recently including a new fuel pump assymbly. i was told the assymbley send not have the fuel sending unit on it and needs it to show the fule gage. i can not find that part anywhere. i was showed on the old pump where it gose. i was told it conncts the the metal bars and plugs into the top of the assymbly. i can not find this part anyway. am i calling it by the right name, or do you know of a part number for it. thanks in advance.

Hello, I do not have a part number for you but thanks to another posting, I do have a section of the service manual that has the diagram. They simply refer to it as the "fuel sending assembly". I would have thought that it could be moved from your old pump to the new one so you may want to check with whoever did the work. Hope this helps.
