Im new to the forum and looking for some help.
The electric handbrake switch on my Sportag has stopped working for the second time.
The first time it was repaired under warranty, but this time the dealer is telling me that Kia will not cover it under warranty, and that the part costs about $320.
Has anyone had the same problem?
And can anyone tell me how to remove the center console so that I can check out the switch myself.
So far I have only been able to find 2 bolts in the bottom of the storage bin and 1 screw on each side towards the back. As it still does not move, I don't want to force it and break something so am looking for some advice.
