Hi I have 2022 EX hybrid and noise from right back side starts two weeks ago decided to lift car check don’t see anything wrong when put back on tires slowly, noise coming. When drive two times make noise even on highway but now only if I turn or go on speed bumps or any cain road imperfections.
My 2022 SX doesn't have this issue, just the 2024.
It's interesting what you are explaining if I understood correctly

Dropped off my Sorento today, the advisor listened carefully to my complaints and told me it may take 2 weeks for a resolution if anything comes back needing parts. They provided an Sorento S as a loaner.

-Regarding the dull clunking in the rear right side:
The advisor said he'll look for loose parts, loose spare tire, blown shocks, etc. I was please with that explanation until I rode the S trim they gave me... same issue as mine, same dull clunking coming from the same area. I do hope they can fix mine but at this point I'm starting to think I just need to learn how to ignore it...
-The dead spot in my break pedal:
He tried it for a few minutes, played around with it, promised to do a comprehensive diagnosis and then processed to explain that all the Sorentos he has tried have the break pedal behavior... I got to try 2 Sorentos, my S trim loaner and another SX trim. Felt a bit tighter than mine but that could have been me on denial because after 100 miles in a day I feel the same thing in my loaner.

I do hope they fix it though.
Just got my car back! This is my 4th Kia, 3rd Sorento, and perhaps last Kia overall.
They had something really good going on, but it seems like they are getting into the corner cutting business.
My 2 issues were not resolved. The staff was friendly though...
Wish you the best of luck with your cars guys.

Thanks and good luck to you, love my 2nd Sorento except for that noise. Think I’m gonna have them replace the end link, it looks off compared to the driver’s side. The mystery continues….

My problem is that I don't believe they did the work they claim they did, nor do I believe that most people that "were serviced" got serviced. They never show you the parts they have replaced but when they are tryingto sell you a air cabin filter you get videosand pics of your filthy filter.
My technician claims he drove the car, felt/heard the noise, got it fix, drove it again and it was gone! I'm calling that straight BS because it had exactly the same noise it had when I brought it back.
The dealership may have gotten paid from Kia for a service they didn't do in my car, knowing that at one point a recall due to a bunch of complaints will come up and then they'll fix the issues.
I will officially submit a corporate complaint to Kia and any consumer protection agency i can find, this may be a waste of time for me at this moment, but at least it may bring awareness to people looking into buying a Kia sorento or any other Kia.
I agree, especially when they supposedly take the car on a test ride and claim the noise is gone. When the part came in, I went to the parts department and confirmed it was new, and usually check for tool marks where it was taken off and put on. The car is new so it’s easy to see. But I think these are cheap-ass parts, could be defective right from the start. And their “test drive” is usually a drive from the shop to the lot. The next time I bring it in they assured me the tech will come along when I test drive it where I choose to. We’ll see how this goes. But yes, report this to corporate, I already have claim number.

Right rear shock replaced, would like to say it’s better but I it’s not :( unbelievable, haven’t re. Contacted dealer yet,
Same here, thought there was a problem with stabilizer end link when I looked at visually, but was simply turned at bit. Trying to figure out my next move. This noise is frustrating, only occurs when the wheel snaps back to return position and sounds like it comes from the floor on right side and not wheel well.

This really sucks! It can't be the shock unless we all got fooled and it was never replaced...
Did any of you check underneath, the spare tire assembly or something? I wish I had x ray vision to look inside the body of the car and point out the issues to these incompetent advisors.
I'm considering/willing to have a 3rd party take a look at it and diagnose it. There's no way I'm going to deal with this nonsense for the l8fe of my lease

In my case the shock was supposedly new, the tech that pulled the old one said it was definitely defective. But makes me wonder if he could actually diagnose a bad shock, or the “new” shocks are suppled defective from the start. Gonna report this to Kia Customer support under my case number and I guess keep taking it back until something is resolved. And yes, definitely considering taking it to third party tire and suspension place for diagnostic only.

Talked to a friend at a auto recycling or wreckers, we are going to try a shock assembly from a 21-23 either Santa Fe or Sorento, 3 bolts easy exchange, could take a while to get one as I have to wait for something bigger ie engine or trans to come out out and they will remove rear shocks at same time, am sure one of our forum Participants said the shock fixed his noise, I can hit the same bump twice and may not here the thump, don’t know what else it could be, nothing is loose underneath

Weird, isn’t it? Mine sort of sounds like they left a tool sealed up somewhere during assembly lol
we test drove again today, if you are in drivers seat sounds like right rear, if you are passenger sounds like left rear ! if you sit in the back sit sound is directly underneath, amazing.
Friend of mine went with me for a test drive. When he sat in back, he could hear it a bit under the floor. When he drove the car, he said it’s louder from right rear, from the driver’s seat. When I was in back, it sounded like it was directly under the floor in front of the third row seats on right side. But I hear it only occasionally from the left, like the sound travels. So, stabilizer bar? Rear sub-frame? ???…Lol
