2017 sorento limited 2.2 crdi with an intermittent miss.

Driving along and at random the car feels like you’ve turned the key off and on, sometimes multiple times. Makes you feel like you are going to roll to a stop on the side of the road..

looking at the graphs you clearly see the driver requested power remains steady but the engine output sharply drops and then returns to normal.

multi graphs show engine power drops, closely followed by requested fuel pressure drop request, tail pressure then drops but by then the engine output is back to normal so the requested pressure and the fuel pressure follow…

so something is definitely telling engine to reduce power or it’s reducing power for some reason and the fuel pressure follows along as expected…

any ideas ?????
