I absolutely agree with this, although All Terrain or Mud Terrain tyres would be the best thing right now. I tried going back up and couldn't get past the bottom... The tyres just had zero grip.

So, I saw this descent that a friend of mine in a Nissan Patrol went up... Thought I'd have a go going down in my (completely stock - even tyres) Sorento. Its amazing, this vehicle.
