Headlights not working. Kia Cerato ex.

I have the same car, Kia Cerato Ex 2005 model. The headlights (bigger ones) are not working. While the smaller lights are working fine.

I understand from this thread that there are 3 components that might have failed;
Fuses
Relays
Bulbs.

Where can I find the fuses and the relays?
Are the fuses near my steering wheel?

Is there any electrical wiring diagram available anywhere? I bought the car second hand and I dont have the user manual.

Thanks in advance for your kind advice and help.

Hello...and WELCOME to kia-forums!
My 06 Spectra is the same model style so I should be able to help you.
On my car with the hood/bonnet up on my car on the right side is the battery. Right behind the battery is a black box...this is the under hood fuse box. There are two release clips you push in and then you lift the lid/cover. If you look on the inside of this cover it shows the relays and the fuses for the headlights. I don't think it is the relays probably either the headlight bulbs or the fuses that protect them.
Keep us posted on what you find...

Could not repair the issue.

Thanks for your reply.

I opened the relay/fuse box and found the fuses & relays for the HDLP (guess it is the high beam) and for the LDLP(guess it is the low beam).
I swapped the fuses and the relays between the HDLP and the LDLP.

Still when I switched on the lights, only the smaller lights were on in both the cases (when I swapped the fuses/relays).

I will try one more time and if cannot get it right, I will bring it to the workshop.

Thanks for your kind help and advice.:D

Thanks for your advice and help. The bulbs were the culprits. I changed the bulbs and everything is fine. Thanks for your replies and help.
