Another Chinese Nav Setup Question - Adding Backup Cam and Sensors

I recently purchased a Sorento LX that does not have a backup cam or backup sensors. I plan on swapping the stock headunit out for one of the chinese nav units. I know these have a separate cam input and a signal wire to activate it when in reverse. My question is do I also need the intelligent parking assist system to get the reference lines to show on the display and have them adjust for the parking location? Without the reversing assist system will it just be a camera image? Is this assist system even compatible with the '11 Sorento? I do have an email out to the company too asking them the same but thought maybe some of you have had experience with it. Item below:

Intelligent Parking Assist System - Parking System - Car Parking System

Next, has anyone that has added a backup camera had any experience with this unit? Supposedly it replaces one of the license plate lights.

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

Next, would I wire the backup sensors/beepers into this setup at all or just leave it a standalone system?

And lastly I have heard mixed reviews about how well the built-in microphone works on the nav unit. I noticed there is a Mic jack on the back of the headunit, does this mean I could wire in a more properly located mic? Anyone have experience with this.

Thanks in advance.

The backup camera is a bit dodgy in my opinion as it says it fits the 2007-2011 Sorento! 2005 - 2009 Sorento is totally different to 2010 - 2012 Sorentos.
Looks like they don't know what they are talking about unless they mean a Universal type of camera in which case they should have advertised it as such!
