Thank you for your reply and your kind words... It shouldn't be too bad to replace it it sits on top of the turbo and OEM replacements are available at multiple websites. 👍

 

Update: I think it would have worked out if I would have remembered to disconnect the battery before replacing the sensor, now the engine light comes and goes. I think it is primarily the fact that I don't drive hard and the sensor does not pick up enough exhaust pressure because of it and over time it'll throw out the code. I did run the 44K, the EPR and MOA prior to replacing the sensor. Interesting fact: when running the EPR you're supposed to run it at 3000 RPMs for about 20 minutes and in that time the engine light went off... That's the reason why I think I have a very light foot and the sensor's parameters are set to detect higher exhaust pressure than what I give with my driving habits.

I apologize for the delay, two additional codes have come up lately for misfires on cylinder 1 and 2 so I've replaced all four spark plugs and I'm waiting for two coils to be delivered once that happens I will clear the ECM and let you guys know if the p0471 comes back...
