So, I've tried to do some digging, and I'm just not really finding anything that really sticks out.
Have a 2014 Sorento 4 cylinder. The horn doesn't sound all the time every time. Very hit or miss.
I've gone through and checked all the doors/hood/hatch and have verified they're closed.
The panic button on the remotes sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.
I've left a window down and attempted to set the alarm, open the door to see if the alarm goes off, but nothing happens.
I'm usually mechanically inclined, but electronics usually befuddle me at times. I haven't yet checked fuses, but I'm not sure that's a problem here. (I could be wrong)
This has just started happening recently. We replaced the only key fob we had and then had a second one programmed for a backup/spare. This was a few weeks ago and was done by a gentleman who does the local Kia dealership keys. They are OEM flip keys and were working flawlessly.
Just need some sort of direction in what I need to do.
