2011 Sedona, Can't Close Power Sliding Door At All, It's Stuck Open

Hi everyone. My 2011 Sedona has been having problems with both sliding doors - I'll mention both problems, but my immediate problem is that the passenger (RH) sliding door is stuck open. I cannot close it. Not with power, not manually, not at all.

The RH door had previously been having issues, only intermittently closing using the power buttons, sometimes with the handles, and sometimes with the power button located at the rear RH passenger seat. The center front button usually opened and closed it okay (also, the lock didn't work at all unless you manually locked/unlocked it).

I took it to a dealer, they said the controller was inoperable, and wanted $350 for the controller plus 1.5 hours of labor.

I found this forum's thread about Sedona sliding doors, and I went ahead and replaced the actuator motor about a week ago. That worked to get the door consistently working by all buttons and the handle (didn't fix the lock problem, though) ---- until last night, that is.

After opening the RH sliding door, I tried to close it using the front power button. It started to move, then stopped. I tried a couple more times, it wouldn't close.

I tried to manually close it, and it still wouldn't move. Now when I press the power button, it doesn't even try to move. There is no sound from within the door of the door trying to move, and there is just a beep tone (a single beep tone, I think).

So I drove 75 miles home with my right rear sliding door open. Good thing it only got down to 45 degrees!

I have ordered an entire controller assembly 81450-4D513, as well as a the door latch assembly 81420-4D000.

The major problem is, how can I install the parts if I can't even get the door closed - or at least freed up from the completely open position?

So does anyone know of a release or something to free the door from it's locked-open state? Or do I need to remove the entire door from the vehicle?

Thank you for any insight!

(As for the LH power door door, that door cannot open, and has been that way for many months. I replaced the actuator motor at the same time I did the RH door's motor, hoping for a cheap, easy fix. That didn't work, so I ordered a new latch assembly for that door. That's what the dealer said it needed, but they wanted $290 plus 2 hours of labor for that).
