greetings.... 2010 Optima, 2.4l.
I've been researching and debating on whether or not I should try this project as a DIY. Seen several videos and read some posts, but I'm alarmed at how little info. there is on this subject. I'm pretty adept at DIY things in the engine bay, but this has got me on the fence.... I'm pretty comfortable at removing the belt, via the use of a serpentine belt remover tool along with a 17mm crows foot attachment. The issue that has me perplexed is how to PUT THE NEW ONE ON!!!! I can't even get my hands in between the pulleys and frame..... any suggestions would be welcomed....
