The motor generally runs good, but when the temperature outside drops the running idle is weird. The starting idle is normal. It's a five speed manual transmission, and when I come to a stop the idle stays high, generally 2-3000, and the comes back down to 1000. Sometimes it revs, between 1000 and 2500, while I'm sitting in neutral at a light. If I wasn't paying for gas I wouldn't care, but I am and there definitely is a problem. I'm not a technician. I can find and change parts. Should I disconnect the IAC?
