Trying to install new stereo. Can't figure out power wiring.

Got a new stereo, pulled out the factory. New stereo has yellow (memory), red and ground wires. There are four different factory. One is ACC B+, one is LLB B+, one is battery B+, and obviously black is ground. So what is config of yellow and red wires to ensure that stereo settings are saved and that it'll work on auxillary? Thanks very much.

The B+, which has power at all times, connects to the yellow wire to maintain the memory, and the ACC B+, which has power when the ignition switch is in the Aux and On position, connects to the red so that the radio turns off when the ignition switch is Off.

If you do splice the red and yellow together and connect that to the B+ then you'll need to turn the radio off separately (it won't switch off with the ignition switch), and if you connected it to the ACC B+ the memory would be lost each time the ignition switch was turned off.

i believe it is the yellow constant andred power, splice, the same 2 wires on hu then connect the 4.
If you splice the Red and Yellow you'll no longer have the option of the head unit switching off and on with the Ignition Switch - you'll need to use the head units power switch each time, which for most would be a pain in the ass.

I have to agree with ron on this one 1fastkia. I just did a stereo install on my kia, only my harness was spliced so I had to get a diagram to show me which wires were which. Nothing directly connected together. All wires had separate wire connections.
