Hi, looking for get a set of four winter tires (while they're cheaper).
This is for 2012 Kia Optima EX which has 215/55/R17 standard tire size.

Would 16" steel rims fit on this model?
Should I get 215/60/R16 or 205/65/R16? I'm assuming taller is better for snow?

Thanks in advance!

I stayed with OE sizing and bought a tire/wheel combo from Tire Rack...
17x7.5 Silver Painted MSW Type 14 wheels
215/55R17 General Altimax Arctic tires

As luck would have it we had a very mild winter and very little snow but it did well in the little we did get. The stock tires are useless in even a small amount of snow.
