I have some Nexen Rodian tyres fitted as original equipment to my 2012 Sorento. Firstly, I have never heard of that brand and secondly I don't think they are wearing particularly well. Can anyone suggest what replacement tyres they think would be a good buy? I do very little offroading, if anything it tends to be sand based but this would only be once or twice a year. I do tow a trailer occasionaly if that makes any difference.
I really want something quiet if possible and hopefully something that wears well.
BTW the size is 235/60/18
Thanks :)

Hi Rex, I remember the add on TV,

Nexen are Chinese/Korean manufacture and are fitted to a lot of KIAs. Not a bad tyre, but as you say, they wear out quickly. (30,000 km max on the front of our sedan).

I've had good experiences with Yokohama tyres on various sedans. I presume that they would be OK on your SUV. There are a couple of suitable tyres for your SUV in the Yokohama range. Generally Yokohama are a bit cheaper than Michelin which is my other preference.
