I dug through the owners manaul to see. Since I had a garage mount the new snows on alloy rims and on my Sorento. I did the summer swap myself on the 2015 but torqued to 85ft/lbs or tad more. I'd seen spec for years that were all less the 100 ft/lbs by a long shot. But now in the 2019 manual its way over 100lbs. OMG
Still alloy rims and I have to ask why. I'd had a shop do it to my son's first SUV that neither of us could get the lugs off. Air guns, X wrench no and collectively and standing on one end while the other reefed. NO. OMG good thing he didn't have a flat as the lugs were no coming off. No matter what.
Over torquing isn't good. But this is it really right??
