Can someone tell me what these are on my 2006 Sorento? They are near the rear struts? Looking to understand what these do and how to best replace. Is this a DIY project, or best left to the professionals? Thanks

Hey Rather. Those are simply "bumpers" that keep the suspension from bottoming out metal on metal whenever you go over a large bump. Not a critical piece and they definitely shouldn't be hard to replace on your own.

If you feel up in the center of the rubber, can you feel a bolt? There could also possibly be one threaded down into it from the frame rail above it. They could also just be glued on.

Wish I could provide a little more precise information but I'm new to Kia's.. and hopefully wont be dealing with the one I'm messing with for long.
