What is the mileage on your Kia Sedona?

2011 Sedona LX, 201K miles. Got it in September 2016 with 93K miles.
Two alternators and one fuel pressure rail have been my major expenses.
Still running on the original struts, shocks, water pump, ball joints, and control arms.
I do routine maintenance religiously and only use synthetic oil for oil changes.
Have had to do the usual brake rotors and pads occasionally.
Tires usually last 40-50K miles. Strangely enough I have never had to do a wheel alignment in the entire time I've had my van.
Spark plugs every 100K.
Coolant change every 12-18 months depending on mileage.
Brake fluid gets changed yearly.
I even changed out my power steering fluid.
I've also changed out my valve cover gaskets and the two round gaskets on top of the covers where the cam sensors poke through.
Transmission fluid drain and fill at 189K miles. I waited a bit long to start doing this but never have had a trans issue.
I would completely recommend a Sedona BUT you have to keep the maintenance up. Oil changes are top of the list with quality oil. The camshaft phasers must have clean oil or they will fail.
Don't skip replacing gaskets either during intake removal or oil changes, they are cheap insurance against leaks.
I also recently replaced both front door lock actuators with salvage yard replacements, very cheap and easy to do.

If you are on top of maintenance a Sedona will run a long time. I do believe that part of the longevity and reliability of my van is that it has spent it's entire life in Las Vegas and Southern California where the climate is dry and warm. No salted roads is a big help too.

Just curious. What mileage did your first alternator get replaced at?

I asked since I’m at 124K on my 07 Rondo and considering a preemptive brush change or complete replacement. Thank you.
129K first time and that was the original. Replaced with a AutoZone rebuild special which lasted all of three months before the voltage regulator crapped out. Bought a used factory alternator with 69K on it and still going with it installed. Now at 203K miles.

My last Advance Auto alternator lasted about 6,000 miles and the bearings started to squeal. I truly believe they typically just replace just what’s bad (i.e. just brushes or voltage regulator, etc.) and leave all the rest of the high mileage parts alone. If they do replace a voltage regulator, rectifier or bearing you can be sure your getting the cheapest Chinese part available.
The autozone alternator is in a box and is a core until I can replace whatever failed on it.
