If I have a repair and/or warranty issues do I have to go to the dealership I originally purchased from? Can I go to another KIA dealership in the area and will they honor my warranty even though I didn't buy from them? I've noticed my original dealers prices are more expensive than the other KIA dealerships in the area.

The ONLY time you need to go to a Kia dealership is if you want them to pay for work under the warranty. Any licensed repair shop is clearly good for maintenance items to keep the warranty in force--save the receipts that list the work, date, mileage. You can do the maintenance work yourself, but find a way to clearly note that the work was actually done and the actual date and mileage.

And....AND make sure they use the correct fluids when doing said "maintenance". Ive seen many a shops cheap out on tranny fluid and use other coolant, power steering fluid and such. This is why I always reccommend a dealer, will always use the OEM fluids.
