In my 2025 Sorento 2.2 diesel (UK specification), there is a plug-in board just forward of the gear selector knob. The left one is for USB music input only whilst the right one also does charging. They use USB-C connectors so an adapter would be required (very cheap on Amazon just a few dollars).

 

I got one of Amazon that has USB-A on one end and USB-C on the other. Can work in the car and on my computer.
