Here in Boca we have 21 undercover vehicles. Mostly minivans, camrys, altimas, a 90s Toyota Supra, a couple of Impalas, an Escalade and now, a KIA apparently.

Boca PD is not shy about its unmarked fleet and openly shows them off.

You can easily tell this is not a civilian vehicle with a fully uniformed officer behind the wheel, not to mention the strobes behind back glass... Antenna in the back, strobes by license plates, strobes behind front windshield etc.

Other than the wire antennas, the dark privacy glass hides most all else of the pic's posted.
Just poking a little FUN at you for making the thread and leaving wording "open ended". I've not posted with you before, and you're pretty new here...so Howdy and welcome aboard the forum!

Being that the Spectra pages are for discontinued models now (very quiet) I kind of "float" thru all pages that I feel my long background in the auto repair trade may be of benefit to reply to. Can't say that the last few years vehicles that I'm much help with as technology and systems have taken a big leap from when I was active in the trade. ;)

Never underestimate your knowledge. Experience is everything. Yes mostly everything in a car nowadays is computerized making repairs much more difficult, but I'll bet your experience is what counts when it's time to make a diagnosis. I know people can that hear the car run for a minute and know what's wrong with it. Now that my friend is where your experience far outweighs a machine.

To me it seems odd that the antennas are window mounted. None of the real government vehicles in my area mount antennas like that.
We have a funeral escort company here that you would swear are true police vehicles but they are not. Just sayin
