Hi,
Glad your having a good experience. I found the Korean tyres actually not bad, quite grippy and smooth but high on wear due to a soft formula. When the fronts
needed changing I splashed out on Pirelli P6000 as they are so good as standard equipment on all the high powered Volvo's I have had.

Brilliant!! front end is much sharper turn in and really hold on in the wet. As the Carens does a low mileage they should last ok. On a Carens CRD there is little weight on the back so the original tyres are fine.

Hey I wasn't particularly knocking Hankooks or Kumhos, I had a set of Hankooks on my 03 plate Ford Transit and they've lasted longer than the Pirellis which were put on as replacements. I was asking whether putting reinforced tyres would make more of a difference to the handling, ie a sharper turn in etc etc.

Glad to see you got some good tyres on your new Carens and hope you have some great motoring out of it.

no problems.
