I’ve been looking at the BG products to clean and help keep my transmission going strong. 168k on the clock and no issues. Trying to stay ahead of the curve. Anyone care to chime in on how they kee there AT alive and well? No service ever on this unit.

At that high of a mileage I would not recommend using any cleaning products (flushes) in your transmission if the fluid has never been changed before.

Furthermore, I would recommend using the "drain & fill" method as opposed to doing a complete transmission "flush".

Reason being, there are many reports out there (for all vehicle makes) of people waiting too long to get a transmission service done on their vehicle and then ending up with transmission issues after doing a transmission flush on it.

A simple drain & fill is usually much "safer" on high-mileage (or neglected) transmissions. You can do it 2 or 3 times in a row to ensure you get most of the old fluid out of the system (a simple drain only removes less than half of the old fluid).
