I started noticing this about three weeks ago...I religiously warm up my vehicle for approximately one minute prior to pulling out of my driveway. Now my 01' sephia is kinda "slippng" a little when I depress the gas pedal to accelerate from a dead stop, and shifts hard when going from 1st - 2nd. After normal operating temps are reached, the hard shift problem goes away, but the "slip start" still lingers on??

Sincerely,
Frustrated Kia Owner

if its cold it will do this in all cars. You gotta let it sit a few minutes not just 30 seconds to a minute. when things are cold the fluid is think and doesnt help the tranny much.
