To adjust belt I'm supposed to line up the E and I marks on the cam sprockets. But when I try this the E and I will not stay at the adjust lines. Both sprockets will "click" over one notch like it is spring loaded. O-kay if I put a wrench on the CAM shaft the line marks and E and I will stay aligned, but is the timing really adjusted correct? I read somewhere that the first CAM lobes, the exhaust and intake shafts, are supposed to face outboard from each other? Is this correct?...... O-kay if I make sure the first CAMS are outboard what if I make sure if the number 3 lobes are both straight up the exact same? Would this be perfect timing?. I also have questions about the cylinder positions...but I will post another thread. Thank you for any help, Dennis
