Ok thx PetsoI think the only way to get enough room to work would be to remove the whole fender. not just hte inner fender but the whole thing. Just removing the inner fender wouldn't give you much room as the opening in the fender when removing the inner fender is not very large to get any real work done.
Now, even saying that, if you are nimble and have the right tools, once you remove the accessory drives, i don't see why it can't be done with the fender in place. it's just quite tight.
