yesterday, returning from work (10 kilometers away), when I pulled into the garage and turned off the engine, I heard the water boiling.
I let it cool down and today I checked for any leaks, whether the thermostat is opening, whether the water pump is working, whether it needs to be topped up with coolant, and everything is fine. I also let the car run on its own at idle, checking the temperatures. Everything is fine.
What could be the cause of yesterday's water boiling?
