My van's (2001 Carnival TDI 2.9) temperature went almost 80% up whenever
I'm going uphill around 30 degree angle for about 300 meters at the speed of 40km at 2500 to 3000 rpm. Is this normal? Kia technician can't find any problem.

THANKS FOR THE ADVICE. I'LL LET THE TECHNICIAN HAVE THE THERMOSTAT CHECK. LET U KNOW THE OUTCOME. :)
BY THE WAY, I TOOK OUT ALL THE COOLANT AND PUT DISTILLED WATER INSTEAD, THIS HELPS A LITTLE TO COOL THE TEMPERATURE FASTER, HOWEVER
PROBLEM HAS NOT SOLVED.
THANK AGAIN.
