instead of asking... which is not a bad thing, why don't you simply check the owners manual? It states what kind of fuel you should use.

Not to offense anyone, but sometimes an advice given here may not be completely true. You know, such situation like my uncle heard from his cousin, and I think it should work...

That's why I strongly believe that new car owners always read owners manual.

Dude, seriously? Why even respond with that? I wasn't asking what is REQUIRED. I was asking what everyone else used, and if they were having not as good performance with 87.

I am sorry, I did not mean to offense/hurt you. I just had a feeling you were not sure what you should use. If you read the FOM (as some refer to it this way) then you know all what you need...
As for performance (what was not specified in the main question), as was already said - no big difference unless you race you car on daily basis. You will not gain enough to overcome the price difference.

Stay with a good quality gas station (not Meijer/Walmart or so...) and you should be fine.
