Hi all! I'm new to this site,& am really excited i found it and hoping someone can help me! Not only am I completely at a loss about mechanical issues/im s female with only experience in changing flats ! lol do my 07 kia sorento EX has been running hot, has been to shop 3 times now- basically replaced the radiator, overflow tank, all the radiator hoses and clamps, etc. The thermostat and gasket replaced now and coolant refilled nit it still runs hot?? I've now spent more on repairs than what I bought ot for..so any thoughts /ideas please?? Also the radiator fan is now not coming on..

It has over 100,000 miles on it and it doesn't run hot until its driven over 10-15 minutes..which is a major issue that's about how far out of town I live lol
Although a problem, the fan not coming on at speed should not cause overheating. There is enough air flow across the radiator to keep it cool. That being said, with that many miles has the water pump been changed? I am not familiar enough with the 3.8 but with the 3.5 2003 Sorie they recommended the water pump be changed with the timing belt and plug maintenance. If the shop that did the previous work can't figure it out it's time for a new shop.
