Use a voltmeter to check all empty fuse locations. You have the choice of power all the time, or power when running. When you find a empty fuse pin that has the voltage, put a spade lug into that point with an in line fuse. Run fuse to your mirror.

What strenght fuse should I use?
That depends on the equipment you are using. Do you have any information on the mirror you plan to install? Usually the instructions will suggest the amperage and wire size you need.

Also, take care when running your wires so that they do not interfere with the operation of any airbags.

the only specs I have from the camera specifications is that its 12V and that it consumes 30W of power.

would 1A fuse be enough ?

Omarko,

power = voltage * current

In your case, solving for current means: current = power/voltage. ie 30W/12V, so 2.5A would be the smallest fuse you would use.
